Gotcha - looks good to me.
Also in the future - if you have a lowes by you - they carry the true union ball valves - they are a little more money as the ones you are using - but if you need to dismantle - especially the pump they are much better to use.

No problem. Its all I use now. To many times had to switch something out and had to scrap my plumbing. Now everything is unioned.

 

I'm getting quite a good stock of plumping fixtures laying around. I had two of them. I think I'm just about ready to open up my own spare pvc parts store. LOL

 

Here we go on the test run.

First.... ran it with a "T" on the end of the return with 1/2" coming out to the end and then 45 angle to create a whirlpool. Nice effect seemed to work good.
Second..... Same "t" and 45s but this time drilled 3/8" holes along pipes to see what effect they would cause. Nothing came out the small holes.
Third ...... Removed "T" and downspout and let water hit the top and then sucked back in at the bottom. Great O2 generator
Forth .... Replaced "T" and drilled 4 holes each 5/16" along each 1/2" pipe for a total of 8 holes. Fantastic water movement. All holes pushing max water

Right now option 4 seems to be working the best IMO. Thanks for the idea md.

The only other thing I'm thinking as I'm typing this is a hybrid setup. Have a "T" at the top of my return one side fitted for a spray bar and the other side fitted for a downspout and then the "T" at the end with the spraybars as well. Would I lose or gain anything from this?

I do have a build thread, simple to do actually, and the only real requirement to make it work is.......................................gravity. You probably have some of that lying around somewhere ;-)

Got to take it apart. Seems I might of missed some glue spots or something. Dang tight fitting area, I knew I was going to have some problems. However, I did get a 25g WC today. WOOHOO!! First one went flawless.
