I haven't been on the forums in a long time, had to tear down the old tank.
Decided to go small for now.
    I have a 29 corallife biocube,
    apex controller;
    LEDs from rapid led (12cw)(12rb)

pls 50 skimmer (not having much luck with it)

Tank has been set up for about 2 months.

    on with the pics :).

    very nice.

Only suggestion I have is to move the Xenia and GSP of of the main rock structure. They are both very growth aggressive and will overrun the tank. The Xenia even if separated from main rock will drop polyps that will show up anywhere and everywhere.

I have them both and they are very pretty with great movement but I do siphon Xenia to cull the masses. The GSP I just tear away if needed.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Do you like the Apex? What other flow device do you have?

    Nice additions!

What about the Tunze 9001, I really like mine, you have to get them adjusted to the right level but once there they are very efficient and silent.

    Thanks!
I love the apex..I'm just scratching the surface at what it can do. I'm going to wire my led's to it soon.

I started with the cad pls 50 was not impressed with it, so I bought the tunze, the difference was night and day, I'm really liking it so far.
I have a korilla 425 right now for flow but have been thinking about getting the tunze nano wave.
trying to adjust the flow without blowing sand all over the corals has been a chore.

I have the Tunze Nano Wave lol.

It's awesome but do not under estimate it's power you'll have water splashing out. Placement takes some time to get it right where you want it. For the money though compared to a MP it's definitely a fine product. FYI I really like the Tunze ATO as well.

The tunze ATO looks great the reviews are all positive from everything I read, just have to decide weather I want a stand alone or one that is compatible with the apex.
