I'm wondering if, while I'm down, there would be a great deal of benifit to adding a 5.5G tank into my sump to hold miracle mud. I would not be able to place the tank horazontaly because I had the sump custom made to accomidate a bow front stand. It is extra high about 18 inches. so it would sit in the sump with the long side of the 5.5 aganst the long side of the sump.

    What do you think?

[glow=Navy, 2, 90%]I think that the Miracle Mud idea is a good one. However, you are going to need some kind of circulation through the 5.5 for the Mud to really be effective.

Have you thought about how you might accomplish this? I have a couple of ideas, but I will hold on to them unless you need them. I don't want to seem "pushy." [smiley=biglaugh.gif]

    Just let me know!!![smiley=biggrinbounce.gif] [smiley=thumbs_up.gif][/glow]

Good constructive Ideas are never pushy and I don't know anyone on 3Reef that doesn't have good Ideas.
I really didn't think about circulation other than the fact that the water has to pass 'over' the 5.5 G in order to return to the main tank. Ah I see I just went to the ecosystem www and now I know how there system works. So I guess i'll need some help. Maybe somthing custom built? what I'm missing is a lower enterance point and a higher exit point.
I'll have to think about that.
