image.jpg Im posting this for a friend of mine, he has a horrible red slime algae problem. There had been a little bit, then within a few days just exploded. He did just add a new fish which died within hours of taking it home, his params where perfect. My guess is the fish just wasn't healthy in the first place. We just added purigen and changed out the chempure elite, I'm not sure what else to have him do other than siphon most if it out. He did that and it came back even stronger, any suggestions???

Chemiclean. When you have the Cyano that grows on rocks in front of powerheads like that I'm convinced its the only thing that will work.

I have used it with great results. I actually did less than the recommended amount just to ensure I didn't mess up. Good Luck

I use the red slime removed from bulk reef supply. I have had problems with it in the past and it worked great for me

I used red slime remover back a couple months ago. I had an out break on my rocks and some on my sand. It did take care of a majority of the red slime, but now I have a section on my sand bed that I can not get rid of.. I think I will try that chemclean, sounds like it maybe a better product.
