Sixlines are cool when they are the only wrasse you have. Dont go trying to put any other wrasse in with them for it will most likely turn ugly! Had a sixline kill my mystery wrasse then wouldnt allow any other fish to be added to the tank from then on. I ended up breaking down the rock work to catch it and banned it to the sump till a buddy of mine came to take it off my hands. Personally i am a fan of peaceful wrasses that can be kept with other wrasses. A sixline does not fall into that category!

I think if you add a Six Line you should add two at the same time. That is what we did and they immediately teamed and stayed together. They started spawning within a few weeks and continue to do so almost daily http://www.3reef.com/forums/tropical-fish/pregnant-six-line-wrasse-53522.html[/URL]] We have added all our fish in pairs and that has worked very well.

We have recently had an outbreak of green hair algae. To help with this we added a pair of Sailfin Tangs. Immediate acceptance. The Wrasse basically ignored them and spawned three hours later. They are now following the Tangs around, picking at algae on the rocks.

We like the word "soar" to describe how cool the Six Line move through the tank, rocks and currents. The color, eye lines, lip stick and flaring blue fins give this fish huge character.

    Absolutely love this fish.
