The fish may have become blind now in that eye.

Good, I am glad to here. Seemed like a read just the other day that the situation/disease was self limiting. Though I wouldn't have been confident enough to post that in the midst of a crisis.

It might still be fighting a bacterial infection in the eye. Mela-fix might help that. Take out the carbon and turn off the skimmer when you treat the tank with that, b/c it will make you skimmer go nuts

I still wouldnt treat my display tank with it. I have read that it depletes o2 saturation and makes corals shrivel up. Not saying that it kills corals but obviously effects them enough to shrivel and become aware of the presence of that in the water.

Sorry to dig this up, but I was reaseatching b/c ny newest fisn addition- a Damsel,
Now has PoPEye in one eye. swims, eats and seems to see well though.

It's funny how the people on this post were so eager to advise medications, etc.

I'm going with the self limiting thing, and doing nothing else atm.

** PLease don't reply to my dig here.
I also dug up another post on this same fish and people are replying on that one.
I didn't want to start a new thread as it's been discussed before.
    Thanks.

I dug up one of DSC's thread on this, plealse find it here:
