I'll work on the pic later when I have more time to figure it out. I think I may know now , but I've got to go pick up a couple of sugar gliders and a cage.

They had them at Canton Trade Days yesterday and they were sooo cuuutte!!They only had one left and he didn't like me . He made all kinds of terrible noises and then bit me!! Kind of hurt my feelings! :'(

THis morning I'm going where they raise them. Surely out of 150 I can find two of them that like me. I'll post pics when I get them.

Here's a pic from the guys web site. Can't wait.. I guess its going to start looking like a zoo around here. 2 dogs, 2 cats, 20 fish and 2 Sugar Gliders. What can I say? WE love animals .

Thanks, Cindy for your concern. I am waiting awhile before I again set up my big tank of which I was so proud! Not sure if I can handle another set-back though!Nonetheless, good-luck with yours... Next time, I will just leave well enough alone and hope for the best! Wayne

This may be kind of like falling off of a horse and getting back on. Don't wait too long. I know how you must feel though. I've had so many problems with my tank I have many times just felt like throwing the towel in. I finally made up my mind that I'm going to do what ever it takes and enjoy the ride along the way even if it is pretty bumpy right now.

    Good luck!

Yesterday I really didn't notice anything. Tonight I saw a couple of little tiny spots. You really can't see them unless you have your nose right up against the tank.

    Beamer,

It is not unusual for hippo tanks to have white spots and it is not always ich. You should try a series of formaldehyde dips. If the spots spread to the other fish then you will have to treat all the fish in the tank for ich.
BTW, cleaners and garlic are not reliable treatments for ich.

You can find a series of articles that I wrote on Cryptocaryon irritans (ich), two on quarantine methodology, an article on how to use formaldehyde and more in my library at Marine Aquarium Advice.

Nice pics Beamer. I mean the anemone splitting, Monty and those Sugar Gliders(?). Must be fun to live in your house. ;)

Thanks Terry, I'll go back and read the one for the formaldahyde dip. I read two or three others that were really good.

Do you stop feeding with Garlic when no visible ich or symptoms can be seen?
