I just added my first open brain coral yesterday. When I first place him in the sand it let out a clear "fluid". Its been 24 hours and no expansion at all. If anything it has gotten worse. My real concern though is that it appears to have a rock or something stuck in it's mouth. What should I do?

    Check your parameters.Mainly PH,Alk,Cal,Mag,ammonia,nitrite,nitrate.
If it looks like a piece of rock try removing it.Just be carefull. If it doesn't come right out leave it.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot. Everything tested good yesterday before I bought him, I'm just not sure if maybe I caused the problem.

Came out without problem. It was soft...? Now there's just a big hole. Hopefully it starts doing well.
