    Hey guys,

I've got my 91 gal system up and running, but the original lights I was going to use, SB Reef Light LED 32", aren't going to work out. I ordered it 5 weeks ago, and the guy won't respond. Now I'm looking into new lights.

My setup is a RedSea REEFER Max 350, so 47" long. I'm setting it up to be an LPS dominant tank. The lights I'm looking at are EcoTech Marine Radion, AI Hydra 26 (2x), or the Reef Breeders Photon 48. I'm leaning toward the EcoTech because of all the awesome features, but it will basically depend on if I can get away with 2 of the XR15w G4 PRO. If I would need 2 of the XR30's, I will probably go with something else due to cost alone.

I'm relatively new to the hobby, and this will be my first reef tank (I've done saltwater fish for about 2 years now). The light spectrums on all of them seem to be relatively the same. Do you guys have any recommendations on these?

    Thanks!

Like you said the Radion are sweet, sexy looking, but the price is hi, I am running the AI Hydra and love it. Super easy to program and the output is legit. I was previously running a reefbreeders budget light that worked just fine. I think these three brands of leds are he way to go! let us know what you decide

I live in Europe and I am very, very pleased with the more affordable aquatlantis easy LEDS (on my system im running1x marine and 1x deepblue) since you are in the states you will probably find better ones, Iv read only good things about AI....

    Go AI or EcoTech.
I cant speak for EcoTech, but depending on your tank size, I would probably go (2) AI Hydra 52HD's. I have (3) over my 220 and like them alot.

I would go with either the Radions or AI.... I have a prime over a 29G biocube and love it. The Radion though is more controllable and had presets already ready.... I believe the new gen 4 radions claim to give a reef the same coloration as t5, haven't seen them yet but that's what I'm hearing.... By the way Civic your tank is awesome

Thanks for all the input guys! I second that, Civic, that's an awesome tank!

As far as lighting, I think I'm going to go with the Radions. Turns out that for now, 2 of the XR15's are sufficient to get started, and I can just add on later if I need to.

I have 4 AI's over my 250 and swear by them. Absolutely love them.
