i am currently setting up a 125 gallon fish only tank. should be ready in about a week. i have my fish from a prior tank in a 55 gallon tank until it is done. i have a 6" niger trigger, 5" maroon clown, 3" false lemon peel angel, 3" fairy wrasse and 3 3" chromis that all have been in this tank till the 125 is done. i am planning on adding a aussie tusk to the 125. i have found a 6" aussie tusk at my local store for $130 that they have had for 2 weeks. i do not want to miss this fish and was thinking about putting him in the 55 gallon with the other fish for the next week or two till the 125 is done but i an worried about doing this. i could use some advice on this if anyone has some. thank you.

I am not familiar with this fish. You could quarantine him to make sure he is healthy before adding him.
Another suggestion, could you buy him and ask the LFS to house him until your tank is set up?

How long until the tank is up and running?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would ask the LFS to hold the fish.
