Mushrooms taking over!

    Have you thought about creating a type of gap to seperate the sps and mushrooms? It would look cool to have a bed of shrooms with sps at the top of the tank. Just simply remove a mushroom if it gets too close. Cut at the base and start fragging, then trade for store credit. Just a thought.

    I figured there wasn't a sure fire way to trim them back but thanks for the advice. I have already traded in 3 or four rocks each with 20-30 polyps on them, I guess I'll get some more base rocks and let them propogate.

    Mr bill they really are cool for a hitchiker that popped up in my very first tank 5 years ago. They really do catch your eye walking past the tank.

    DSC I don't believe they are going to give me much choice on taking over the lower lvl. The only sps on the bottom is my tri-color mother colony and the pocillipora. Most of the sps is at the top of rocks. I don't plan on adding much more sps so things have room to grow together.
