    You were actually pretty clear on your intentions as written in notes 2 and 3 where you spelled out take them apart and rotate 90 degrees.

    Great modification and you will be much happier with your new layout.

    If you are using GFO and carbon a MJ powerhead such as a MJ 600 to 1200 is more than enough since neither media needs much flow or they grind themselves to dust. I manifolded two Phosban reactors like that several years ago and use a MJ 600 with 100 grams of GFO or less and still have to valve it down slightly.

    Sweet, thanks! I have a maxi 1200 laying around, I just have the darn eco-mod on there. I think I have a line on the strainer for the maxi though. If that's all it takes, I'm not sure...

    I think I used 1/2" push-to-lock fittings/hose.
