Making a tank stand cover?

    Well I picked up some material to create the stand today.
    However, Plywood im going to use for main floor and refugium floor seem a bit too heavy... I plan on using this for the sides as well.
    What kind of wood are people using as side panels on their custom stands?

    Depends on how fancy you want to be and how much you want to spend. I used luan which is cheap and light weight.

    I used 3/4" birch with 1/4" luan on the back to keep it square. What size tank is it? You could honestly get away without using 2x4s if you really wanted to.

    Isn't that OSB? That's not Plywood.
