I just recently converted my corner to SW. I want to put a nem or 2 in it. Running a fluval canister filter on it and no skimmer so I am not going to be doing anything too hard to keep but I would like some input on cheap lighting for it.
Thanks in advance for the help.

What kind of anemone are you thinking about?
    Bubble tip?

A new tank and anemones don't mix too well. They need a stable tank and good lighting in my experience. So going with cheap lights, a canister filter and a new tank has me a bit concerned. What do you have in mind?

Tank is probably running about 3-4 months. Have 2 clowns and a cromis in it with some snails and a coral banded shrimp.

I dont know much about anemones. I have a 150 reef that is loaded with coral but no nems.

And when I say cheap lights i mean more reasonable. I run kessel 360s on my 150. Not looking to spend that kind of money.

If you are looking for something hardy; anemones are not a good choice as they are very sensitive to water quality.Your statement made me chuckle a little.:)

I would attend to the advise about maturity and good water qualify for a nem. Bubble tips may be the hardier type. I used a 4 bulb T5 on my 54 corner and kept a nem.

I had a 54 corner and I think a couple kessel 150s would work well if you don't need intense lighting. Lighting that back corner is why I got a new tank
