Good info...Problem here is, that I don't have a DSB...only 2-3 inches, and it was only 3 months old.

Whoa, wow, I forgot those facts. Wow!

Things should be better now, and you may get back into reefing again, who knows?

We can't wait to see your planted FW!

I had added to my previous post before I saw this one. I hope you didn't take it wrong.

One of my favorite quotes is:
I used to think I knew something.
But I now know, I don't know anything!- (Eddie Reese said that to a group I used to swim with)

Not at all Todd, I am not going with planted right off the bat. I just want my guys to adapt first, so it will look pretty plain at first. If you do everything at once, there is nothing to look forward to. So the first pics will be kinda amateur....I will update from there. The tank is running right now with bleach. I will let it go overnight, drain it, and the run freshwater for a few hours. I will then drain again, make sure everything is dry, then start the transfer.

Well things just keep getting worse. My wife and I are in the process of draining the bleach water out, when we hear a loud pop. I thought the bottom cracked. It was the center brace on top. I had my halogen work light on there so we could see, and I guess it got so hot, that it cracked. Hard to believe, being it is 1/2 in thick glass. My 400w halide resides right over it, and it never cracked. I think the integrity is ok though. The left side of the glass is still intact front to back.....sheesh!

    Robman,

When I bought my current DT 125g off of CL, it has only 1 center brace, and the plastic was cracked in the middle, but not all the way.

When it was dry, I mixed up the Epoxy like you buy at LOwes, HD, Menards, etc., - the kinda that comes in a double cylinder syringe.
I epoxied it, put two small boards on top and bottom, and used a small C-clamp I have.
    It's still holding fine today.

Can yours be fixed something like that?

I just re-read your post, your braces are glass?
