    ...some of you clean the corners of your aquarium near the silicone? Magnets may be too strong, blades cut. I am curious if anyone have a special way without fraying the silicone.

    Cut a piece of filter pad to fit your wet side magnet, put it between the magnet and the glass. viola.

    Doesn't the magic eraser have chemicals like bleach impregnated in it?

    Not if you get the plain, unscented, no chemical additive ones.

    I just started a similar thread, wasn't trying to 'one up you'.

    I"m going to get a new razor scraper soon, but I may try this 'magic eraser' also.
    I've heard about it years ago, never tried it.

    I have use the razor near/on the silicone- but I know that's asking for a failure someday.
    I will have to give this Magic stuff a try.
