I Want to quote one of the sites Ive ordered from's Fish Manger, But I dont remember his name. So I will sum it up.

By no means do I consider myself an expert. But If you read up. Know what to expect and how to execute a plan to fix it. You should have no problem keeping the fish.

In regards to the color. They normally are a Chocolate brown to dark brown almost black color. The one I have when slightly stressed will actually turn a Lighter brown to deep brown color. It can also be because of lighting as well. I have not kept this fish under halides. But my T5 Seem to make him more black. as to the WYSWYG picture I got him under was more chocolate (Halides)

Yeah mine seems to change colors from light brown to darker when the cleaner wrasse is cleaning him. Its kinda freaky to see it happen so fast. Awesome fish, everytime I walk into my LFS, they are always asking about the fish, and telling me someone came in looking to purchase one, I have had multiple offers to sell mine, but he is my show stopper for sure.

Haha, Have you seen their aggressive eyes... They turn from that deeper dark coloring to a bright blue.

Good job, Eric! This is one of those very attractive fishes I would like to have the bigger tank for!

Very good observations too! +k for the nice Achilles Tang guide.

The cheapest I seen was $100 from my whole seller. on LA it's $160+. I'll probably trade my hippo and yellow for this fish. Does your dad really want this fish or even researched about it?

If you can get it from a vendor, Your looking at around 50-100$ If not normally around 160-90 for a Juvie.

Mid sized adult around 200-250... Show size 300+

    Mine was 320$
