ecoBAK reduces Phosphates and Nitrates to near Zero, eliminates most Dissolved Organics, clarifies water, improves coral coloration, provides coral food and lasts around a year or so

Blending a Phosphate Remover with a Bio-Polymer is a bad idea. Other products break down in the system leaving a Brown Iron based crud all over your system, they adsorb Phosphate thereby altering the ratio of P:N needed for bacteria to grow, the Phosphate Remover becomes saturated and stops working,

So if ecoBAK is capable of maintaining Phosphates and Nitrates near Zero, why use anything else?

Don't fall for marketing gimmicks, ecoBAK is still the best performing and best reviewed "bio-pellet" available.

I've been using the all in one bio pellets and I've had no adverse effects of brown crud in the tank. I've had them running for months now with high flow and not even any crud in the sump. I used the ecobak but it kept clogging on me but the results were great as far as nitrate and phosphate goes. If I run Ecobak can I just run higher flow to the pellets to reduce clumping?

Hello, the size of the reactor, amount of ecoBAK, nutrient level of the system all effect clumping. Some users have said that clumping doesn't affect the performance of ecoBAK anyway. Once nutrient levels have dropped to "low levels" you can certainly turn up the flow. In fact, advanced users use higher water flow once their NO3 and PO4 are low (less than 1-2ppm and .03pm)

We recommend lower gentle water flow in systems with nutrient levels above those numbers... which is usually most new users.

Thanks john. My nutrient levels are low now so I think this next round I'm going back to your product. I have a better reactor now so I'm sure that helps too. Thanks for getting bak to me john. See what I did there;)
