I kept it much the same. Tested the ATO which worked perfectly. Changed some plumbing around other that that I think its done. Added a sponge to keep the Macro algae from getting to the pump. Tested for power outages. Tested the weight on the glass by adding all my left over dry rock in it held up just fine. took the rock out and filled it the rest of the way with water. it's been running great for the last few days no problems. Aside from a drip leak from the pump side which I just had to tighten the fitting a quarter turn.

    Quick update with pics

Figured I'd upload a few updated pictures of the sump/fuge doing what it's supposed to do. check it out. Couple changes moved the sponge to the first baffle to reduce bubbles. Moved ATO to the return section. Changed the fuge light to an LED light from PetsMart. Cut a hole in the cover and added a piece of glass to protect the light. Added cheato and it has taken off with this new light. Flawless operation n the last few months and I'm happy with the way its been working.

So I broke the glass in the refugium. So I cleaned it all up and went ahead and put the 10 G in it's place for now. How many people use miracle mud?

    Rolo,
I just saw this thread- quite the Fuge/sump evolution.

How did you break the glass, on purpose?
The tank in a tank looks great- I use Plastic tubs/bins for my purposes.

    Others have shown their sumps/fuges-
    here's my current sump/fuge
It's my former 125DT- a non drilled tank that is now my 125 sump- and currently has at least 100g of water in it for the normal operating levels.

ON the right are the 2 x 1&1/2" drains from my DT, the siphon one to a filter bag, the other to a net bag-
into the bin on the stand to keep my skimmer level constant. The stand has large holes and in full of the sumps water too so I don't loose any water volume.
It has a small waterfall to my large chaeto area- now even bigger that the picture.
I use 2 x 100WCFL bulbs on the cheato- has grown like a weed for years
To the large volume on the left I may put frags and a light on soon
to the RP on a stand to get about 9" of head height back, and up the !&1/2" return line back up to the DT.

Edit: That clear tub in the back on the upper left is my DIY/powerless/sensorless/pumpless/ ATO- shich also works awesome- never have to do anything really and my SG stays rock solid.
It does use Gravity power- that's all

OPtions are endless, and the skys the limit my friend.

    Soy Capitan!

Taking the plastic cover off I some how put to much pressure on the glass I guess. Not really sure. It will work better this way, I can clean under the ten gallon now. Sometimes thinking outside the box is the way to go.

Thanks DSC My cousin is there permanently now so I'm hoping soon. I'll hit you up when I know for sure.
