dip before or after acclimation?

    i am acclimating my corals now drip method. i am wondering if i should dip before or after acclimation. i was thinking after would be best?

    For years I float bags for temp acclimation then dip in my tank water/dip solution then place in tank. The only thing if dripped used a cup method for was a couple of my first clams and my nems.

    I dont drip corals either. Or fish for the most part. I do what ingtar does as well. I may be losing my second coral out of MANY with this process. Pretty good success rate IMO.

    I prefer dripping, it gets the animals a chance to adjust to salinity, second in importance to temperature. I drip, then dip, then rinse, and put them in the tank.
