Couple of new pieces

Yesterday at a frag swap I got a couple of SPS frags. Got a birds nest and a sunset monti. Never had any luck with SPS so here goes nothing.

 

I really really like the Sunset Monti. Sunset is one of the few encrusting montipora I would get. Birds nest hate me.

 

I think all SPS hate me. Figured what the heck I'll give em a go. The sunset is nice. Orange with green polyps. The pic really doesn't do it justice.

 

No pics rarely do. I have seem some really nice ones. I am not sure if there are different types of Sunset. I like all the colors. There was this really cool video on just Montipora, the whole video was just Monitopora opening and closing (time lapse), Sunsets were awesome. I'll look for the video.

Nice buy! The frags you picked up are fast growers for sure, I have both. FWIW, I've always kept my alk at 10dkh and there always happy. The first time I saw a sunset Monti I had to have it, congrats.
