6 weeks into this clam keeping lark and still enjoying a positive experience
although it does bother me when the snails climb on the shell
does not seem to bother the clam as yet, so I have resisted the strong temptation to bully them off thus far

Wow. Very nice clam. Love the pattern. I've seen snails on mine too. Doesn't seem to phase it either.

Thanks Matt, I was always the same with new corals to be honest, fish browsing, snails cleaning etc , I was always thinking "leave it alone to settle in why dont you"

sorry to hear about your Clam, Schackmel . you went through a very frustrating period with your set up, its good that you are looking to build up again. I am going to keep the momentum going by introducing you to my 2nd Clam later this week ( purchased today, based up on flat rock, but in panic mode at present, rapid shut down if a fly touches the front glass LOL)

Thanks for that jkat21 - I suppose its very natural and they must have a built in immunity to it . I need to relax a little, it does seem contented
