    looking for some new corals for my tank-tank is mostly hammer, mushrooms, a frogspawn, star polyps, one toadstool, some moon coral favia,

    Thoughts on scolys-are they hearty, not hearty

    Looking for stuff to place near sandbed or 1/4 way up

    Tank height is 24" with ai sol whites

    A colorful acan is always a big plus. And they seem pretty hearty. My scoly is beautiful but requires a lot of attention (night feelings). I really like this "tie dye" acan.

    Anyone experience with galaxea coral??

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Galaxea is a very aggressive coral with long sweeper tentacles. It's a hardy coral, keep alk in line like you would for other stony corals.

    +1 Galaxia are very aggressive. a montipora capricornis or digitata can get by mid level if you want to try an sps.
