Just a question. while my tank is down I thought it would be a good opportunity to treat the fish with copper. I have followed the directions and added 1ml to 10G tank. ever since my Bicolored Blenny has barely moved. he did make an escape attempt, jumping out of the tank and onto the glass top. I was right there and put him back in the tank. Does anyone know if Blenny's are copper safe?

I'm not sure, Jakets, but I'll check for you.  I know that they have VERY small scales, and that sometimes indicates a fish that has problems with copper.  But, don't panic; let me do some checking first...

Done.  It was Cupramine by Seachem.  He is in a Nano now that has been set up for about a month. and looking better already.  Is there anything I can do for him?  Dam that makes me mad.  I've been trying for months to get my blenny into a hospital tank to treat him and never thought about whether he was safe.

    Your a life saver Wrassman

I ran so quickly to get him out and into the other tank I forgot to think about wether he would transfer enough Copper to kill the inverts I have in the Nano.  What do you think?

[glow=Navy, 3, 80%]I doubt you put enough copper in the tank to harm the inverts. Just to be safe, do a water change first thing in the morning.

Everybody still looking ok?? Blenny still looking better?? I'm so glad we caught him...[/glow]

Well he has already found a hole and is spitting sand at us. As to say WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO ME [smiley=furious3.gif] [smiley=hehe.gif]

Well valuable lesson learned. Never Put anything in the tank you are not 100% sure of.
