    Brichell, that Ich Attack stuff works and it is reef safe. I have used it myself, but it causes of problems, such algae blooms. BUT IT IS REEF SAFE.

    Oh, and you have to leave your main tank with out fish for a min of 3 weeks to kill the remaining ick in the system. With out a fish as a host the ick will die. This is the stage im at right now!! It is worse than cycling!!!

    Do you think any of this could be adding to the stress??
    I have a ZooMed powersweep PH 190gph with the prefilter on the bottom;
    Stock filtration with a sponge.. I cut the sponge in half long ways to put it in 1 half in front, then the cartridge with carbon in it, and the other half in back. How often are you supposed to clean the sponges/filter? I try to every week, but it usually clouds up the water.

    I have a AquaC Remora with MJ1200 in the mail, should be here Wed. I am praying that it helps out with the fish, being as the water conditions come up 100%

    I am also feeding mysis

    any change in your tank can cause stress. But once you get ich, you will have it for a long time.

    Geekdafied: I mite have to try that stuff. All my fish are ick free right now, I just have them in QT. Im hoping to add them back to the tank in a week or two. But if the ick comes back I will try that ick attack. Im getting another majestic angel in a month or so, and dont want it to die!!! Ick sucks :lol: .

    it worked well for me, but it turns your water green and sinces its 100 organic, that means a nice algae bloom. When I finally got rid of all my algae problems, lol.

    You should only clean the sponges like once a month. Unless they are really dirty. But in a Live Rock system you really dont need sponges. It will give you nitrate problems later down the road. The skimmer will make a huge difference in the water, but im affrad it will not help your ick problem. If the fish are healthy, and strong they will fight the ick and win. But if they are weak, and really stressed( they look good in the pic ) they will most likly die.

    It is the same way with FW, so dont give up!! It is just a small problem. Once it is gone and your fish are stong, you will only have to worry about introducing new ick from new fish. That is why QT is so important.
