Cloudy Water

If it's a bacteria bloom it will take its course. I'm sure the alk is fine, it's just low to my likings so that's not to say it's wrong. Keep an eye on your livestock and don't make to much of a drastic change. It's really not a good idea to have that mandarin and even dosing the liquids that say pods isn't enough. They consume more than you can realize just to stay alive. It can take several months for them to starve. I've had mine over 3 years now but it eats everything. I'll never buy another again after this one though.

 

Thanks DSC, I thought it ate frozen foods.... In the store we feed it and it looked as if it ate. But when I brought it home it's a no go.... I started a pod tank. I hope this will help. I have had pods for about 6months with nothing eat them so I hope my pod tank will produce. I have had issues with high Cal, and my ALK stays around 7.5-8.0 idk...... I have let the tank just run like it wants?

 

Stop doing wcs. If it's a bacterial bloom this can make it worse. If it is a bloom it will not harm anything and should go away on its own.

 

Well it's over whatever it was..... I didn't know that water changes would hurt.... I actually read to do them.... Guess the what I read was wrong? But either way water is crystal clear and nem is back in action.

 

I thought my nem was dying today but it just pooped.... Never seen it do that before, but it's back looking good.
