Hello all! This is a really great site, very informative!
My question is, after several years of storage, what is a safe way to remove coralline algae from my old powerheads and skimmer? There is a pretty good bit...Thanks for suggestions ;D

Hi I had an Overflow box that had a lot of Coralline Algae on it, and it was all dried up and hard, I soaked it in a strong solution of Vinegar and Water over night and it made it a lot easier to clean, as the vinegar breaks down the Calcium in the algae. Just make sure that you rinse everything off very well in clear water after you are done :D ;)
