Hoss by feeding these fish like this trying to make them eat you are just adding to the problem , You are placing more and more bio load on the bacterium you now do not have and then the ammonia and nitrites are just building . Allow the fish to die set back 3 or 4 weeks and add a single JUST one yellow tailed damsel . While you wait get the water parameters up to snuff and rock solid .

Not to sound rude or blunt , But I have often been accused of being blunt you simply screwed up and put the cart before the horse and the only way to fix the problem is to stop and turn it around And its a down hill slope all the way out from here , You now have to stop and fall back and punt then wait for half time and formulate a new game plan.. My game plan would simple be allow it to settle down and in 3 weeks add the Damsel Just the one not two or three just the one .and allow the system to mature and establish the proper amount of de-nitrifying bacteria. This will fix the problem and do no water changes ..

Any tank I set up get the one fish and 12 weeks to fully cycle I never test for ammonia and nitrites . No need over the last 50 yrs of the aquarium hobby I have found that a mini spike can hit any tank at 8 to 10 weeks but never after 12 weeks . then you add one fish at a time with a 2 week wait in between new additions of fish to allow the bacteria to increase in numbers to handle the added load . Anyone who has ever applied this cycling methoed have never posted any problems with it like you and many more are now and have experienced death and disease . Holler back and even contact me in P/M in 3 weeks if I miss your post of the new addition of the one yellow tailed damsel .. Its not a huge problem to over come at this point and you are lucky you did not have more fish when it spiked . Time and bacterium will fix it but bacteria work on their time schedule only.

I have posted this very information in far more depth and detail a million times on this site alone .. over the next 3 weeks research this site you will find answers to your problems before they arise .
