So some bad news, when i came home from work, my blue tangs ich seems to have bigger white spots on him, and the yellow tang seems to have like 3 on the fins. While feeding the blue was feeding but after a very short time it seemed like the fish ran out of breath and went and layed down and was breathing really heavy. Its comes out and swims after it catches its breath each time. The other fish seem to be acting fine.

Here are my chemicals and yes i know my nitrate it high i feel it is from a recent filter change since it was alot lower last week. salinity-1.025, Nitrate 40, Nitrite-0.10, Phosphate 0.5, Ammonia-0.25 PH-8.4 Alk (KH)- 143ppm calcium-420ppm

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
How long has the tank been set up?

You should have no detectable ammonia or nitrites, what test kit are you using?

Those types of parameters if true are enough to stress an already ich prone fish.

Do you have any prime or equivalent?

Too many fish for a 3 month old tank, the fish and the subsequent feedings are contributing to new tank syndrome which is contributing to symptomatic marine ich.

Tangs should go in later after the biological filter is fully established.

    You have 3 choices:

    1. Treat in a QT tank.
    2. Do small water changes and or add prime and do small water changes.
    3. Keep feeding the fish and hope the biological filter catches up or try to add some bacteria in a bottle like MB7 or Dr. Tim's products.

Which I could offer more and hopefully someone will.

Thanks its helpful i do have some of the bio-spira which im assuming is like prime. and right now i have a 14 gallon biocube running i just need to remove the rocks and the the sand and do a huge water change on it. That tank has been running for over 2 years and no fish for the last 3 months i can use that as a QT for the tangs for now till i can set up a better QT but i just want to check everything in it since i havnt reallly paid any attenion to the biocube

bio-spira is great for boosting the bio filter. I started my tank 5 months ago, or so, with bio-spira. I would be adding it. It will atleast kill any ammonia and help establish nitrifying bacteria.

BTW, your nitrates aren't that high for fish only.....you should absolutely have no ammonia or nitrite though.
