    Go for the 29, I got mine for 200 off of craigslist and love it! Itll handle most anything coralwise outside of sps, and they are easy to upgrade

    The HQI version will handle SPS all day long. Though it is more $$$$.

    I've always loved halides, but I just can't seem to get over the heat issue. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesistate for the HQI.

    I havent really had a problem with heat. I keep the room its in at 80 when not home and 72 when I am and my temp goes to 80 max so far. I might add a little fan at some point.

    Really? Maybe I will consider the HQI then. Could always go with one of those HQI clip on fixtures and run and open top.
