I recently got about 60lbs of mature live rock that has some thick dark red algae on it. And also some clusters of small red bubble algae that have small bright red spots on them. Just wondering if its something to worry about.
    thanks

yes, you need to be concerned about the bubble algae in the right picture. The first picture could be coralline. You need to be the most concerned that you have several aiptasia in there (the brownish anemone looking things). Those need to be eradicated or they could overtake your tank.

I see aiptasia along with some hair algae and cyano. Dont see the bubble. Talk to Reefcleaners. I beleive juvie emrald crabs for the bubble and your hermits for the hair algae. Toothbrush for the cyano and a bottle of pills for the aiptasia!

Yah the aiptasia is really bad, I'm gonna start eradicating it soon. I have finally got it all out of my 165g and now start on this one. I'm going go take the rock out a bit at a time and hit the aiptasia with lemon juice and ill scrub off the cyano at the same time. What should I do about the bubble?

I would try to remove it manually out of the water. I'm not very knowledgeable about the red bubble but have seen pics with tanks having it covering a lot. Bump for your question to make sure it is indeed bubble.
