AEFW-Plan and Attack!

I dipped last night, and found ZERO AEFW! I am so glad that I was able to beat this thing, with very minimal losses. 2 frags that were not so happy to begin with. But the rest have held strong and some almost all their color.

The craziest thing of all is my hawkins enchinata, which are notorious for dying because of dipping, has held all of its color the whole time and has actually shown growth! There are 6-7 new sprouting branches, its amazing. This IMO speaks volumes for the Bayer dip.

Hawkins STN on me if I look at them wrong so that is excellent news.

A lot of hard work but a great contribution to anyone else down the line that has the pleasure of AEFW.

 

I have read that using the Bayer dip that you get more polyp extension and color..

 

It is true, the dip almost seems to encourage PE. It's weird.

Hahaha! the sixline was purchased for a purpose. That's the only reason. But I believe my dog didnt want to accept it into the pack.

 

Update: I am very happy to say that I am AEFW Free! The migration back to the promised land has begun!

I have started to move my acros back over to my DT!. I am doing this slowly, and have started with just the smaller frags. I don't want to add that much demand on my system at once. So I have added a total of 8-9 smaller frags and mini colonies over the last 10 days. I am monitoring my dosing to see if it changes at all. I have a feeling that once everything goes back in, I am going to have to bump up my Alk and Cal dosing by about 10ml more than before.
