So tested my alk. Its down around 5.5. Have a bunch of sps so guess its time to start dosing.

What is the easiest 2 part system?
Nano tank only 30gal. Nuvo fusion 30L tnk.

Have a salifert test kit tested against a hanna alk test. Both same.

I have on hand Reef Code A and B. I haven't had to use them yet but have it standing by when I have enough corals munching away :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I have used Kent/Two Fishes/ESV Bionics. Basically they are all pretty much the same. Go up slowly, watch to make sure your Ca does not go down as your alk goes up, get a baseline mag ( I test mag maybe everything 3 months). Currently I am waiting for my BRS two part system to arrive, trying to be cost efficient since I will only be increasing the amount/volume of the product I use.
I try to make an effort to dose the Ca and the alk in separate areas of the tank/sump and dose them separately.

Yea my bud has the brs 2 part. Might just get 2 of the jugs he said I could have some powder. For 30gal he said I will barley use any so. Maybe just pick up 2 half gal jugs and go to town. Go up slow I know that.

If it is slowly creeping down you may want to look into kalk. I use it in my ATO and only have to worry about it once every 3 weeks when i fill my ATO tank and it stays stable.

I like this route but what about erosion to the tubing of the ATO from the pH level? Some say it's a problem other do not seem concerned. I just bought kalk AGAIN if I choose to go that route. I would much rather use the ATO and not have to worry about it but I worry about failure. I am torn on the two parts vs the kalk AGAIN.

Naww, next week, bought soo much stuff lately. I have an excellent top off system though. And what makes the tubing for the dosers different than the tubing for an ATO?
