I've read that once they have been in the DT a couple weeks we need to help get the color back. I read getting fish from the market or raw shrimp. Is this the correct method. Has any one ever had experience with this. I'm new to any corals.

Iv never had one go downhill so i dont know about nursing them back to health. What i do know is how to keep em happy. What is the lighting like? Are your params good? It may never look exactly like it did in the store as your lighting is almost certainly different. You can try feeding it a bit( i always feed mysis), it wont hurt him, thats for sure.

Also that could just be that coloration for that type of rock anemone, not all rock anemones are brilliantly colored. Feed it small chunks of raw sea food once to twice and week.

+1 to what Corailline said. It actually looks to be pretty healthy to me.

+2 I had one that looked just like it. Just feed and don't try to move it and you should be fine ;)

Personally I do not like Silversides. The Krill should be fine if you have nothing else.

The best would be tiny pieces of raw fish, scallops, clams, squid.

    Do not over feed it.

Yup any market, just make sure it's fresh and not rotting.

Over feeding can cause bacterial infections to the anemone and promote a decline in your water quality, more is not better in this situation.

    Good luck
