Does using zoe for a nutritional supplement (soaking fish food in it) create additional algae?

i would imagine so. really anything you add to the tank can be used to feed/create algae.
I use some Kent supplements for my corals and it seems to quicken the pace in which algae takes hold on my viewing panels.

I will have to dis-agree with this. I use Zoe daily, and have had no adverse Algae outbreaks. I wondered the same thing, and I believe that it is made with DI water and contains no Phosphates or Nitrates.
