So I went on craigslist and found a nice size colony of zoanthids today about 60 on a piece of rock for $10 when I put them in the tank they opened right up for about 4 hours then suddenly closed, should I be worried? I put them at the bottom of my tank, temperate acclimated them. My water is as follows.
    Ph 8.31 (Hanna checker)
    Alk 10.1 (Salfret)
    Sg 1.025 (refractor)
    Nitrate 0 (API)
    Nitrite 0 (API)
    Ammonia 0 (API)

I don't have much in my tank yet just 4 small fish its a 90 gal everything else is doing fine (puple star polyps, pulsing Xenia, mushrooms)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would not be worried. If they still do not open after a day or two then I might be more concerned.

its still going through an adjustment period it should open back up in no time but like corailline said if a day or two passes and no changes i would start to worry but i would try to move it as close to the light as possible i had mine on the bottom and they didnt respond well i moved them to the top and they stretch toward the light

I bought a whole bunch of zoas like a month ago. All but one opened right away. The one is just now starting to open. Looks fine too.
