Your weekly tank maintenance ritual?

    For me...

    1. Get the tunes spinning
    2. Do 15% PWC
    3. Clean sponge
    4. Replace carbon
    5. Enjoy the tank:)

    (this is my FW)

    What about you guys? How do you execute this lovely ritual?:D

    Not weekly, but ..every 4 weeks =
    Change carbon in reactor, as well as clean all motors in pumps and power-heads, 20 gallon water change, then test parameters, enter activities into journal...
    ...also RO/DI maintenance, as required. : )
    .....in a perfect world. LOL

    as needed:
    refill top off tank
    scrape coralline off glass
    empty skimmer cup

    weekly:
    watch fish

    bi-weekly:
    clean off the ATS

    monthly:
    good glass cleaning
    maybe 10% wc
    change media in HOB on small tank

    weekly (sundays)
    -scrape coraline off front, left, and right
    -clean out protien skimmer
    -change filter sock
    -wipe off all salt creep
    -refill my ATO bucket
    -dust off the top of the light fixture
    -wipe down the outside of the tank with novus
    Monthly - relpace carbon in reactor

    Daily= Test parameters that need to be tested. Top off. Clean glass inside/out. Dose 2part.

    Monthly= 5g water change.

    Monthly: Water Change usually 20%, equipment cleaning.
    Weekly: Clean out skimmer cup(sometimes more than once a week
    Change carbon bag
    Daily: Clean glass(magfloat), Top off, Testing params, ENJOY the tank.

    Good filtration, and keeping up with testing/maintaining Params.

    Every:

    Tue, Thu, & Sat: dump & clean skimmer cup, clean filter pads in HOB

    Sat: test parameters, mix make-up water for 10% WC

    Sun: test & adjust make-up water, vacuum substrate while removing water for WC, refill DT with make-up water

    Every 4th Sat: change pads and carbon in HOB

    Misc: clean front glass when necessary

    Skimmer on wet-skim. Empty about 1-2 time/ week. Add 1/2 cup of new SW, daily.

    When I notice something looks off, I test water parameters.
