I bought which I new I shouldn't a tang from petco within a couple of days a small spot showed up on its fin. I was hoping it would go away on its own but now its growing and now looks to be spreading to couple of other areas and looks like a spot on his gills and I was wondering if there is anything I can do for him all other fish are fine and not affected. He steal eating like a pig and not showing any problems but fear the worse with the spot on his gills.

There is no cure for that. Just keep it healthy and it will go away on its own.

Thats what I thought. It wont spread to my other fish will it? Do I need to increase feeding with garlic added or anything else or just let it take it course. Water parameters or great so there is no problem there.

That's your call. IMO, increased feedings mean increased water changes. I had a CBB with it in my QT for about 4 months and it didn't pass on to the other fish in the tank. When he was clear I placed him in my DT. It showed up a little but it still stayed with him and didn't transfer to my other fish. I don't know if it does but you would have to Google it. Just keep your routine going and let nature take its course.

It's a virus and will go away in time (takes weeks and will get really ugly before it gets better). If the tang is healthy it will be fine, but if the tang is weak or has other problems, the lympho could kill it.

Keep stress low, water clean and feed regularly (add Selcon). Good luck!!

I do have a cleaner wrasse and he is always hard at work with all my fish he helped my blue hippo fight his ich outbreak and he cleans the yellow tang but doesn't seem to touch the cauliflower there is about 4 spots on him for a week now and seems dormant right now but cant tell he is still eating and swimming around like nothings wrong I will just keep my fingers crossed that he will beat this on his own
thanks for your suggestions I will do anything to give him a better chance to get rid of this
