So I have this maroon clown and would like to try to breed her. It lives in a seabea anemone and has its own 36 gal tank. What are some of the things I need to do to get her to breed. I am thinking of adding a smaller maroon clown to see if they will change sex for each other. All Info is welcome.

I believe breeding clowns are pretty much the same across all breeds, the books I've looked at dont really specify maroons vs tomato vs perc/oceleris

You pretty much have to have a pair that will breed, sounds like you have a female already just need a 6+ month old male

You need a rotifer farming setup you have to have this as the fry won't eat anything but this until they are big enough for brine, then mysis and flake (at this point they are old enough to sell though)

Best way to do it is to set up a breeder tank. Either keep them in there full time or at least make it so that you can get the eggs into it. If you want to move the eggs, a ceramic pot, peice of tile, and even IME the scrubbing end of a mag float are all hot spots that they will lay eggs on that are easily removed.
If this is something you want to take seriously, even consider getting rid of the sebae. Clowns will most often actually breed more often without an anemone, and you wont have all the other risks that go along with it.
For your fry tank you will want a 10-20 gallon tank, filled with water from your main tank. Put an airstone and heater in it, and nothing else. No pumps, filters, or powerheads. Lights are optional. And as stated above, you will need to get into farming your own rotifers to keep the fry succesfully.

well if I do try this I have to keep the seabea. He is the prize of the whole tank. It is big enough to swallow my fist. But still I think I am going to give it a whirl. I am going to try to introduce a smaller maroon and see what happens from there.

you'll want the clowns in a tank where you can get the eggs out easily usually if your going to breed you need a tank just for the mating pair, and another for each batch of fry

Look here for how to breed rotifers, and here for how to farm phytoplankton.

Maroons are just about the hardest to breed from what I've read. It won't happen quickly either, as it took our Tomato pair nearly 3 years to pair up and breed. Our Percs have been together just as long and no breeding yet, although they're well settled as a pair.
