my JBL strips indicate 0 nitrite and 0 nitrates

my red sea drop tests indicate 0 nitrite and nitrates off the chart....

i noticed the reactor agent B (powder) had small clunks or balls in it.... could the agent be compromised? (totally felt like a super spy typing that)....

otherwise my corals have decent polyp extension expect my montipora digitata but im thinking thats more a flow related issue...

Is there no expiry on the test?
    I would redo them both

tested twice, same readings. exp date on red sea 2016

    strips 2017.

what troubeling me is that the red sea no2/n03 test came in the same box, i dont understand how one the reactor agent poweder for the no3 could be faulty and not the no2 one, one would think if the test had something wrong it would be the entire box

The first thing is asking if the test makes sense to you. Knowing how you take care of your tank, should nitrates be high?

actually they probably wouldnt be seeing as nitrate is the end product. i haven't tested ammonia, maybe should look into it, but if I had ammonia in my tank i think my fish and corals would have clearly let me know
