on thing about frog spawn is it needs to be fragged or atleast proned to maximize growth, it has a habit of sprouting new branches that are shaded by bigger ones which basically die.

as said by others its a good deal. My lfs consistently gives 1/3 retail in credit.

If you want better you should post on craigslist. assuming you have the proper license, florida is ridiculous. The authorities have taken down hobbiests selling on places like craigslist in florida with out a license.
Don't think your too small for a sting operation, florida treats wild life like drugs.

Its probably easier to just take 1/2

I swear I feel like I'm the only one in Central Florida that has a salt water tank. There's Jax Beach, and Miami, but no one anywhere close to me to even think about trading or buying.

You dont need a FWC License

If you get an aquaculture certificate from the Dept of Agriculture you are exempt.

    Just putting that out there.

I find this very surprising. I live in ND (i.e. the middle of nowhere) and we have a thriving reef community. We recently had our first frag swap and over 200 local reefers showed up to buy and trade corals. There are 2 other reef tanks on my block alone.

To add to the topic, we have a LFS that deals only in SW and they give half in store credit on anything they sell for you. I feel that's really fair.

I agree 1000% there...maybe do a swap or just hook a friend up every so often, but that's about it.

To be honest, one of the reasons Renee and I got out of reefing was that it seemed like all anyone in the local clubs wanted to do was frag stuff and make as much money as they could off it (this was especially true with the "20-something" crowd).

What really shocked me was that very few of them actually knew how to plumb a system...they all ran AIO's and PNP's. Kinda ruined the whole idea for us, but I digress...

I say let it grow into a big, beautiful colony...you've probably spent way more than you'll ever make on frags anyhow, so why not have a really nice piece?
