My ideal is a 180, big enough for lots of fish and corals, with the dimensions you can do lots of things with the rock work, and it's still manageable.

My 193g is ideal for the basement tank.

    It is ideal because I made it. ;D 62" x 30" x24" high.

Now for my upstairs tank, I am thinking at least 350g. I have a spot that can fit a 8 foot tank, and if I make it around 34" wide and 28" or so tall that will give me 396g.

I voted for the 240gal long and other.

240 simply because it was the biggest option. Who wouldn't love a huge tank? I don't have it because I right now I couldn't afford the top off water for a 240, let alone everything else.

Voted for other because I would love to have a 30 gal cube as well. I am working on that one though.

Ideal??? who really wants an ideal tank. How about your dream tank.

My current ideal tank would be a 75 Gal. Easily moved by one person. Doesn't take up too much space.

    Doesn't say much that I own a 150.

My Dream tank would be a multi room wrap around with multiple levels to simulate different depths on a reef with a central 8 foot tall wall of wonder in the center.

I really like my 90 but.... a 120 looks extra nice. More specifically Oceanic 120g tech series. I eyeball this tank in a lfs near me all the time and run numbers through my head.

Next tank I get will be that tank. But maybe not for 5 years or so.

So many things to factor in. If money wasnt a factor of course Id have some ridiculous size tank of 1000+ gallons. But thats not the case.

I really like my 90 and plan on going balls to the wall with it. :D
