Can anyone tell me what these green leaves are that are growing up out of my coral? Are they bad, good, harmful?

Yes it can be highly invasive. In the link I posted the op states what worked for him (mexican turbos). Emerald crabs are supposed to like it as well.

Until they learn to catch brine and mysis floating by...then they become freeloaders. ::)

    :-/

I believe people report good results with urchins as well.

Telestar go to the algae forum and do a search using key word Lobophora, there looks to be a few threads addressing how to treat Lobophora.

    Moved to------Algae.

Well I got an urchin, and 3 emerald crabs last Sunday. Lfs didn't have any Mexican turbos. The urchin is going to town on my rock work but none of them have touched the lobophora.

Perhaps when all the good stuff is gone they'll be more inclined to eat the lobophora.
