what else can go wrong....please help

    ok here are some pics im just going to show the canopy on this one but im also going to post pics for my whole tank build in another.

    That canopy looks like it will hold any light fixture you can fit in it.

    I'd keep the canopy separate from the lights. You will find more often then not that canopy will be taken off for maintenance. At least with my 55 it did.

    that's exactly the problem my 4 ft light won't fit.

    What I have seen many people do it remove the top of the canopy, or cut out an opening the same identical size as the light. It saves you from buying another fixture, and honestly will be much better for ventilation, especially with current nova extreme having side vent fans.

    I don't know. I'd hate to go cutting on such a nice canopy

    See if you can carefully remove the top panel, it looks like just a 1/4 peace of plywood.

    The top has double layers an inside one space and then an outside layer.
