I have no experience but I think it will readily adapt to the pellets.

I had a watchman goby although mine was pink and blue spotted. He was mean!! He beat up on my fish and pretty much anything In my tank, I had to return him. Idk if all watchmen are like this or just mine

Man I really hope not! Everything I read said they are nonaggressive and leave everyone else alone. How big was your tank?

It's a 55, although I think I just got a mean one. I see others and they are nothing like mine.

Hopefully, although new mine has shown no signs of aggression. At the lfs he was in a tank with all kinds of fish small and medium and minded his own business as well.

Lights came on this morning and the tank is a little cloudy, the goby stirred up enough sand to make a mess I guess. Hopefully all those fine particle will eventually be trapped in the sponge so he doesnt cloud the tank.

LOL well I guess if you want a true shrimp, goby pair than the yellow watchman is your best bet. Luckily I dont plan on adding any shrimp so as long as he leaves snails and hermits alone Im happy. I have seen him pick up some dwarf ceriths and move them out of the way but thats it. Seems very skittish any movement around the tank and he darts to his burrow he made. Seems to like one corner of the tank and made a double sides borrow under a large rock.

So nobody here has kept the Tiger Watchman Goby??
