i know pics are really bad, plus it didnt help that actinics were still on, and he stays on the side that gets the window reflection

i wonder if its just a bunch of sand :-/ im always seeing sand particles in the water column cause the vortech is almost too strong for my tank and pics up the sand really easy so maybe it just stick's to him???

ich isnt nearly as bad as velvet. with velvet your fish can be a goner within 2 days.
ich they can last weeks/ months or even get "cured" with a proper diet.

what makes ich so deadly is the secondary infection fish get from the wounds the parasite produces.. thats from what ive read.

i dunno, he gets whatever it is really bad he gets covered in it, my other fish never get this, dont think its normal

bubble coral stings or that is the only thing that kind of makes sense but with bubble coral stings i would think he'd have some sort of side affect, but im leaning more towards sand, just because he gets it so often

it could be sand, i only had ick once on a fish but it sounds like that. Of coruse with my dottyback it was sand, and i was freaking out for no reason. I think if it was ick though at least one of your other fish would have it by now, even though the flasher is the one getting picked on which could cause a stress related immune weakness... i dunno, if any of your other fish start to get a spot then I would set up a hospital tank. Each wave get progressively worse.
