In case anyone doesn't know, I absolutely love Acropora, especially ones with a "staghorn" growth pattern.

Seeing the recent thread about zoanthids and palythoas, I thought it would be only fair to start a thread on acropora.

The only rules are that the pictures have to be from your tank, and a common and or scientific name is preferred.

While I have over 40 pieces of acropora in my tank, most are mere frags and not quite picture worth yet.

Here is a blue tenius frag (A. tenius) and a Steve Tyree red dragon mini colony (A. carduus)

I recently had an issue with new rock in my tank, once things return to normal, I promise to have pictures of Oregon tort, Cali tort, Hawkins echinata, green slimer, Joe the coral, and a couple wild cut pieces.

    Love Tenuis.

I believe I am looking at 14 different Acropora types and not one Tenius.

My favorite Tenuis is the Walt Disney, or Orange Crush.
