IMG_20140830_180539_183.jpg I have a few questions on the stockman. First, how far below the intake for the weir(?) should the intake for the drain be? I assume that will determine the water level and how far the water drops from the display. Second, below is a pic of the expanded standpipe. I've sharpied out where I'll be drilling holes. It's about 1.5". Is that enough drain?

Im more familiar with the Durso Stand pipe. However, I have a friend that set up a 55 and was thinking of adding this style stand pipe on his aquarium. I have a picture from the web that may help you as well.

Thanks Rolo. In just trying to do the mental math on this. The tube is 1". Is an 1.5" stretch of tube with 50% coverage of holes going to equal or exceed a1" diameter pipe?
