Red Bugs!

Okay so yup, not if when and I got them. I dip every piece that goes in my tank. So about 6 months ago, I picked up some interceptor so I have it on hand.

Well getting ready to treat and reading some posts, looks like hermits, crabs and shrimp have to come out.

How do you get them out!!!! Have 2 huge cleaner shrimp I dont want to lose and a few emeralds but no shot on getting them out. whats the easiest way for the shrimp?

 

Wish I could help, I could not catch my pistol shrimp and I did loose him eventually.

Some people use a diluted dose and do not loose shrimp or crabs, but you just get RB back in 6 months it seems.

Use a trap when you can.

 

Just put your hand in the tank and let them clean it then grab them? That's what I do. Just curious, are you using interceptor pills or interceptor spectrum chews?

 

Every time I treated, I just called them collateral damage, unfortunately. Way too tough, to darn near impossible.

 

I am going to try a Gatorade bottle fish trap and see if I can get them out. I am using Interceptor Spectrum.

I had red bugs and got rid of them with dipping. I know that's not possible according to the internet but I did a lot of dips for months and they are gone.
