    This is also posted on my coldmarineguy thread, but I thought the breeding forum would be interested in this unique video of jewel anemones spawning in my temperate marine tank....not sure this has EVER been filmed before...these animals reproduce by dividing and I can find no evidence on the Web that they have this sort of behaviour, although their close relatives,the tropical corals, do this,but at night, once a year with a specific moon phase...I would appreciate any knowledgable feedback on this...

    I'll never forget the first time something was spawing in my tank. I told my husband I saw smoke in the water. He thought I was crazy, then I thought I was crazy and about month later it happened again. I went on a forum and asked about smoke in the water and I found out about spawing.;D

    It is pretty cool.
